About us
Paul Lindsoe, owner of Headwaters Seat Covers LLC, started his seat cover career in 1987 with Marathon Seat Covers.
Since 1987, Paul has designed several hundred different models of truck & SUV seat covers and he's installed several thousand sets of them, plus trained dozens of employees, including store managers. He became a master designer/operator/mechanic of an Eastman M-9000 C&C cutting machine in his last seven years at Marathon.
In September, 2006, Paul drew a bighorn sheep tag in Montana, and being frustrated with being unable to buy Marathon when it came up for sale, he left Marathon and founded Headwaters Seat Covers, LLC, about a month before Marathon was sold to a fellow from Georgia.
How humble were the beginnings of Headwaters Seat Covers? Paul started Headwaters with just $275 dollars on a zero percent interest credit card. But what he lacked in money, he made up for in knowledge, experience, customer service and a drive to succeed. Talk about the "American Dream." We have come a long way with lots of help from others. We've grown from our profits. We've utilized the help available to small business dreamers like us which is available to the general public.
Paul is continuing his pursuit of excellence in pattern-making design with his new M-9000 C&C cutting machine. His installations and customer service are still second to none. Happy customers remain his best sales tool and that's what has made this business grow.
Headwaters Seat Covers LLC is a true mom and pop business. Paul does the manufacturing of the seat covers and Lori, Paul’s wife, does the books. Their two young, but growing, sons help out whenever they can.
The roots of this business are soundly grounded in customer service. Paul still serves his customers on a one-on-one basis, from start to finish, and is a stickler for details and quality control.

As you can see from the donations and the photos below, the Lindsoe family is very dedicated to wildlife and spending time in the outdoors. As a matter of fact, almost every weekend is spent in pursuit of fish or wild game.

As you can see, Lori is never far from the action.
The two Lindsoe boys have been going hunting with Paul since the age of three. Here is Keagan, age seven at the time, with a cow elk Paul shot during the 2005 archery season. At the time of the shot, he was telling Paul to not shoot the cow and wait for the bull. Keagan was right. The herd bull bugled for 2-3 minutes in front of Paul and Keagan at 20 yards after he
had already shot the cow!
One of Paul’s proudest hunting moments, his 2006 Montana Missouri River Breaks Bighorn Sheep.
It took five trips and 22 days of hunting to find this ram. During that time, Paul looked over some 150-175 rams before shooting this one. The Ram scored 189-1/8 Boone and Crockett points and
was aged at 12.5 years old.
